Join us in this weekend-long silversmithing course where students will learn various silversmithing techniques as they create one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry of their own.
This year, students will be sand-casting objects of their choosing (no larger than 1.25”x1.25”) in solid silver and turning them into wearable pieces of jewelry.
Students will also learn how to use the CabKing cabbing machine to cut raw stones into usable cabochons

February 21-23
In this weekend-long workshop, Dre Fandetti of @craftswithdre will guide students through a series of hands-on projects that will teach them the fundamentals of working with epoxy resin. Topics that will be covered throughout the weekend include:
On top of these topics, students will learn how to create a "wave" effect on a project of their own as well as make a plant stand using epoxy. While all of this is happening, the group will be working on a weekend-long deep o project as well.
By the end of the weekend, attendees will have a comprehensive grasp on the medium of epoxy to apply to any project they want!

Join us on this weekend-long dive into the art of leather crafting as students learn a broad range of leathersmithing techniques applied through a guided project. This year, students will be instructed by Ethan Carter of @ethancarterdesigns and Dennis Forester of 21Grams Leather, as they construct their own pair of leather flip flops from scratch. Throughout this project, students will learn skills like templating, stitching, leather treatment, edge finishing and much more.
After each day of instruction, students will have access to our wide array of tools and materials to work on personal projects or practice techniques learned earlier in the class. We will also have a full arsenal of Leather Tattooling Machines so students can explore the world of leather tooling with this innovative new product from Weaver Leather Supply

Join us for this weekend-long blacksmithing retreat where students will leave with a hand-forged axe that they made themselves. Students will have access to our full arsenal of forging tools and machinery as they are guided through the process of making an axe. Some of the techniques that will be covered in this class are punching, forging, grinding, heat treating and hanging.
After each day of instruction, students will have access to our open forge of tools and materials to work on personal projects.

Join Hat Maker Jessi Lloyd for a hands on hat making experience. Handcraft your very own fur felt hat. During your hat making workshop you will be hands on in every step of the hat making process. You will hand stretch your felt over your hat block, sand, steam and shape your hat, customizing every design detail to your specifications, then you have the option to set it with fire. You will then sew in your leather sweatband by hand, and create your outer hat bands and accessories. Let’s build your dream hat!

April 4-6
In this weekend-long blacksmithing workshop, students will work with one another to complete components of a larger group project led by renowned blacksmith Chris Cash of Mt Phillip Metal Work. This year we will be joined by artist blacksmith Matt Harris of Matthew Harris Studio as we build an aquatic free-form sculpture using various new world and old school forging techniques.
After each day of the workshop students will have access to our open forge with an array of materials available to make projects of their own choosing.
